the first practical training program for preparatory-year students at the Faculty of Engineering was launched as part of the accredited training program for preparatory-level students.
rotating through five specialized workshops:
Welding Workshop Machinery Workshop Blacksmithing and Fitting Workshop Plumbing Workshop Carpentry Workshop

During a full training day, students underwent a realistic practical experience, where they were introduced to various workshop equipment and engaged with the industrial work environment under the on-site supervision of the center’s trainers and with oversight from:
Dr. Mohamed El-Sakka – Director of the Mechatronics and Automation Engineering Program
Dr. Asmaa Rady – Director of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineering Program and Construction Engineering Program
Eng. Lujaina Farag – Teaching Assistant at the Faculty
Prof. Dr. Atef Alam El-Din, President of the University, emphasized that this type of practical training represents a fundamental pillar in building students’ capabilities, noting the university’s commitment to providing applied educational experiences that align with labor market requirements and contribute to preparing qualified graduates who possess both skills and knowledge.
