University Admission Rules

1. Student Admission Policy

• The university announces all programs approved to begin study. Application procedures, steps, and relevant dates are also published on the university website. The university ensures equal opportunities for all applicants who meet the required application conditions.
• Applicants must submit a certificate of completion of pre-university education, such as the Egyptian General Secondary Certificate. If a foreign certificate is submitted, it must be valid, recognized in the issuing country, and allow the applicant to enroll in universities in that country.
• The published requirements include the minimum admission score for each program according to the type of certificate.
• Applications are submitted through the university website, with photocopies of all required documents attached.
• Applicants are contacted by email throughout all stages of the process.

2. Program Application Procedures

• Applications to the program are open to holders of the Egyptian General Secondary Certificate from the current academic year or an equivalent certificate, provided that all application requirements are met.
• Applications for university admission are open to all students holding the British IGCSE certificate and the Nile International Certificate (CNISE) who are enrolled in Grade 12 before their final results are issued, provided that they complete their documents immediately after final results are released.
• Clear photocopies of the following documents must be attached to the application form. The original documents must be submitted after admission to the university is completed:
• A passport-size personal photo with a white background.
• Birth certificate, national ID card, or passport. Egyptian male applicants must submit their national ID number.
• Secondary school completion certificate or transcript, or their equivalent from other certificates.
• Students holding foreign certificates must submit proof of completing twelve (12) years of schooling.
• Proof of passing international English language examinations, if available, as follows: the minimum TOEFL or IELTS score (... reading - ... writing - ... listening). If unavailable, the applicant must pass the university’s English language examination.

3. Coordination Procedures

• An email is sent to the student nominated for admission, requesting submission of original certificates and admission requirements to Student Affairs at the faculty to which the student has been nominated.
• Students who do not meet the minimum admission requirement will be notified of the rejection of their nomination as soon as possible.

4. Final University Admission Procedures

• The student’s documents are reviewed by the university’s Education and Student Affairs Administration to determine whether the student can be admitted to the preference selected.
• If the student’s documents do not comply with the announced requirements, the nomination will be cancelled and a place will become available in the nominated program.
• The university provides an additional early academic advising service through a meeting with each admitted student to ensure their ability to adapt to the program for which they have been nominated.
• The university requires a specific language level for its students, sufficient knowledge of digital learning tools, and relevant certificates. It also supports students through critical thinking courses. The university confirms that admitted students will take placement tests in these skills, and students who do not meet the required level will receive courses during the first year without affecting their enrollment or registration in first-level courses.
• The student then meets with the academic advisor to agree on the study plan and determine the courses to be registered in the first semester.
