Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Atef Alam Eldin, President of East Port Said National University, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Osama El-Baksawy, Director of the Computer Science Program, the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology organized an educational visit to the Armed Forces Institute of Information Systems, reflecting the University's commitment to providing a comprehensive educational experience that integrates academic knowledge with practical application.
During the visit, students explored the Institute's advanced educational and training facilities. As one of Egypt's leading institutions specializing in information technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, the Institute plays a significant role in preparing highly qualified professionals capable of keeping pace with the rapid advancements in the technology sector.
The visit included an introductory presentation highlighting the Institute's mission and capabilities, followed by a guided tour of its facilities, including the Military Hall. Students also attended a specialized lecture entitled "Artificial Intelligence (AI)", which explored the latest applications of artificial intelligence, its future across various sectors, and its vital role in supporting digital transformation.
