Proceedings of the Ninth Scientific Conference of the Damietta Pharmacists Syndicate

Prof. Dr. Atef Alam El-Din, University President, participated,

together with Prof. Dr. Rasha Anany, Vice President for Academic Affairs,

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Yasser, Director of the Clinical Pharmacy Program, Pharmacy.EPU

and Prof. Dr. Amjad Mansour, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Port Said University and Professor of Pharmacognosy at East Port Said National University,

in launching the activities of the Ninth Scientific Conference of the Damietta Pharmacists Syndicate.

The conference is the oldest pharmaceutical conference and the sixth edition of the Egyptian Pharmacists Conference, held at the Steigenberger Hotel in Ras El Bar.

It was held under the patronage of Mr. Ayman El-Shahaby, Governor of Damietta,

and at the kind invitation of Dr. Khaled El-Nagdy, Head of the Damietta Pharmacists Syndicate,

and Dr. Wael Ali, President of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Foundation and member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation.

The conference was attended by prominent scientific leaders and academic figures from various Egyptian universities.

The conference focused on highlighting the pharmacy profession from a contemporary perspective, with lectures delivered by a distinguished group of young Egyptian scientists who hold executive and leadership positions across various areas of the healthcare sector.

The conference was also attended by a number of heads of pharmacy syndicates from branch syndicates.

Attendees praised the lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Yasser, Mohamed Yasser Hamdy Director of the Clinical Pharmacy Program, which highlighted the application of entrepreneurship principles in pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations,

under the title "From Formula to Fortune". ✨

This participation comes in light of the university's plan for active community engagement, in recognition of this leading role and in pursuit of the strategies of fourth-generation universities.
