Prof. Dr. Atef Alam El-Din, University President, attended the graduation ceremony of the first cohort of Zohr School of Applied Technology in Port Said.
The ceremony was attended by Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said; Minister of Education Mohamed Abdel Latif; Minister of Petroleum Eng. Karim Badawi; the Italian Ambassador; Elsewedy Foundation; and members of parliament.
It is worth noting that 
Zohr School of Applied Technology
was launched in 2021 under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Port Said Governorate.
It was established in partnership with Eni, the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company, Petrobel, and Elsewedy Electric Foundation.
The school aims to enhance young people's technical skills and improve employment opportunities in Port Said Governorate
by educating and training outstanding professional technicians, while also meeting industry needs for qualified labor directly linked to economic growth in #Egypt .
Zohr Advanced Technical School includes five departments, covering the specializations of
energy equipment maintenance and operation, electrical maintenance, networks and information security, logistics, and automobile and light vehicle maintenance.
