our university, headed by Prof. Dr. Atef Alam El-Din, University President, commemorated the glorious October Victories in the presence of a distinguished group of national figures and leaders, foremost among them
Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab, former Prime Minister of Egypt and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Major General Staff Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said,
Major General Staff Ahmed Abdullah, former Governor of Port Said; Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University; strategic expert and political analyst Major General Samir Farag; and Major General Assem Saadoun, representing North Sinai Governorate,
as well as Prof. Dr. Medhat El-Hadek, President of Salam Technological University; members of the Senate representing North Sinai; representatives of North Sinai tribes; and a distinguished group of university professors and public figures.
On this day, the first meeting of the Board of Trustees was held inside the East Port Said National University campus, chaired by Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab and attended by the board members.
An educational seminar on the Sixth of October was also delivered by Major General Samir Farag, strategic expert and political analyst.
He explained the great role played by our heroic soldiers, including their sacrifices and acts of bravery, which enabled Egypt to reach its current standing.
